How did I get here???
I started my apprenticeship in 2014. I worked in all areas of the trade.
Commercial, servicing, install and refrigeration.
But I always ended up back doing what I was good at: resi splitty and ducted installs.
I wanted more money, so I started running my own Facebook ads to see if I could win a few splits.
It went crazy.
A few mates asked if I'd run ads for them.
Then a few more.
Next minute I was running ads for sparkies, fridgies, plumbers, mechanics and even a few real estate agents lol.
I saw an opportunity to get off the tools and never climb in another roof.
I sold my tools, moved to Brissy and went balls deep.
I had no fucking clue what 'marketing' was.
I thought it was TV ads, logos, awareness and branding.
When I figured out you could basically brainwash people to buy from you by putting images on their phone, it blew my mind.
Now I'm obsessed with taking aircon businesses with empty calendars and building systems that bring the installs to them.
